Wanderlust, Part III

Being in Vienna at the end of a three month trip, I wasn't sure what to make of it. Sensory overload had set in, and absorbing so much newness and beauty in such a short time was overwhelming.

In retrospect, Vienna felt special. The sky was always gray but the streets were always glowing. It seemed like a century-old fairytale.

Wanderlust, Part II

happiness on the roof

I had been to Paris before, but it was this trip that allowed me to truly fall in love with the city. I rented a rooftop apartment in le Marais with my best friends. Every night we made dinner in our teeny tiny kitchen and drank wine on the roof as we watched the tower sparkle. Those two weeks feel so sacred to me; it was a time I will be dreaming about for the rest of my life.

Guest Post: Wanderlust, Part I

Even though I recently went on a three month trip through Europe, Harper's trip to Africa is giving me yet another case of wanderlust. One of the places from my trip that I can't stop dreaming about is Berlin.

Berlin is a city with an intoxicating energy; crisp clean air, fresh simple food, and impeccably designed everything, it's the kind of place you plan to visit for a week and end up never leaving.

Guest Blogger, Carrie Poe: 'Let Them Eat Cake!"

I'm back with some more wedding inspiration...One of my favorite parts of the planning process so far has been the cake! I met with the cake designer yesterday and am thrilled with the design she came up with. A perfect interpretation of my vision and super yum!

Guest Blogger, Carrie Poe: Holy Moly Matrimony

Give a warm welcome to Carrie Poe, my little sister, she's getting married in a few months so I thought it would be fun for her to share her wedding planing on Lloso. Take it away Carrie...

My wedding is fastly approaching October 8, 2011 and I have been busy planning for the big day. When I started planning I found an article titled, "Fringe Benefits" in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine that quickly caught my eye and inspired the design of my wedding. The article highlighted the use of paper streamers, Confetti System garland and the most important part the color CORAL. I have become obsessed with the color coral and have made it the main color focus of my big day. Add some shiny and touches of paper fringe and it becomes a perfect balance of sophisticated and playful!

Thanks for the warm welcome Harper and I look forward to sharing more wedding ideas with everyone over the next couple weeks.
