Rosas & Xocolate

I am madly in love with well-designed hotels and this one is super dreamy. Rosas & Xocolate is located in Merida on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The colonial architecture is stunning with just the right amount of modern details. (all images from Made by Originals, Design Hotels)

The Waterhouse at South Bund

The Waterhouse at South Bund is an amazing boutique hotel in Shanghai. Designed by Chinese architecture firm NHDRO, the 19 room hotel was built into an existing building used as Japanese army headquarters in the 1930's. I love the combination of wood and concrete...really beautiful. (via Dezeen)

W Vieques

Wow. Dreams really do come true...an entire hotel designed by my favorite Patricia Urquiola. Can't wait to visit the new W Hotel on Vieques Island in Puerto Rico and be surrounded by all of that amazing furniture! (via Henry Road, photos from Contemporist)

Hotel Basico

Habita is an AMAZING Mexican hotel group. My latest obsession after the Condesa, is the Hotel Basico in Playa del Carmen. I've never really had a strong desire to visit the Cancun area but this hotel is incredible.
