Clewis Reid

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a good weekend.  I've been celebrating my Birthday (which is today) all weekend so I'm a little exhausted :)  Not too exhausted though to share this new jewelry collection from Clewis Reid.  Designer, Ashley Reid is an old friend of mine from growing up in Charlotte and now we both line in Charleston.  Ashley has been designing clothes (and some jewelry) for years but is now expanding on her jewelry with an awesome new collection of subtle gold pieces and more chunky, tribal inspired necklaces.  I can't wait for her to launch her next clothing line but until then this will definitely suffice!

Lowcountry Picnic

I loved seeing the 'Lowcountry Picnic' story in this month's Matchbook Magazine. How photogenic are these Charlestonians? The lovely Olivia (bottom) seemingly the mastermind behind the shoot has such a beautiful blog featuring food, travel, and her life in Charleston. Do read! Also making an appearance is Charleston mixologist (and friend) Brooks' 'Jack Rudy Cocktail Co.' Artisanal Tonic. Makes for a serious delicious cocktail. Beautiful story..beautiful South. Wake Up It's Today!

A friend , frequent visitor to Hope and Union (husband and i's coffee shop), amazing illustrator, and musician, Nick Jenkins, makes an awesome calendar/coloring book. I'm really happy that 'May', my birth month has illustrated triangles. Very happy indeed!

Mi Casa

Our house was just featured in Charleston Magazine. The photos turned out great (although I'm a little upset they didn't include a photo of our cat, Marsha)! It's fun to have a joint article with the hubs. See more photos and read the article here.
