What a beautiful project! Dutch designers, Haas & Hahn started the Favela Painting Project after being inspired while making a documentary about hip hop in the favelas (or slums) of Rio. The goal of the O Morro project is to paint an entire hillside favela using the residents as the artists to create a bright, beautiful neighborhood that can be seen from the center of Rio.
