I can't help but post a long piece about the amazing women of Taller Flora. Carla Fernandez, a native of Mexico City, founded the fashion label and research group. Fernandez has spent a decade studying the traditional tailoring and materials of dress in Mexico. She works with Mexican weaving cooperatives, felters, embroiderers and seamstresses to produce her line. I'm inspired.
