I've had short hair for a long time. A few months ago I decided it was time for a change so I have begun the painful process of growing out my hair. I have quite a ways to go but these ladies are keeping me inspired for the long road ahead! (sofia, lou, alexa)

The Burning House

Have you read this blog? It's fantastic. 'The Burning House' features a collection of things you would take with you if your house was burning. Got me thinking...I would definitely grab Marsha (my cat), passport, camera, iphone, my well broken in APC jeans (worked hard for those), necklaces from my travels, a few Proud Mary bags, my current notebook, and my computer. Seems like a lot!

I've wanted to open a lifestyle store since I was in high school. I can't imagine adding that to my plate right now but one day it will happen and if it looks and feels anything like RTH on La Cienega Blvd. in L.A. I'll be one happy lady. I've had a dream of owning an avocado farm with a Spanish style farm house for a long time and in my dreams in looks a lot like Scribe Winery. The long palm tree lined driveway leading up to an old, but ridiculously charming hacienda, with delicious wine and food. Heaven. (images from here and here)
